When the Resident Evil: Director’s Cut game was released onto the US PlayStation Store over a year ago, European gamers may have felt a bit left out. Well it looks like they don’t have to feel that way much longer, as Capcom has recently confirmed that the PSOne classic is on its way to the EU PSN.
According to Wesley Yin-Poole over on the eurogamer.net website, the Resident Evil: Director’s Cut game – which will cost PlayStaion 3 owners £7.99/€9.99 to download – is in fact an updated version of the original Resident Evil title first released back in September 1997.
The Director’s Cut inlcudes an arranged edition of the game, which changes the locations of almost every important item found within Resident Evil’s zombie-infested mansion. The main characters within the game are seen wearing different clothes, and players get an improved handgun.
Resident Evil: Director’s Cut also comes with a beginner mode, which doubles the amount of ammunition that is available to find and makes the enemies a lot easier to kill. You can view a few screenshots for the upcoming PSN game over on the eurogamer.net website.
