This year we will be seeing all the various manufacturers bringing out tablet PCs, and today the HTC Flyer has become available for pre-order.
Chris Martin from the Inquirer is reporting that internet retailer clove.co.uk, has put the device up for £600 with stock expected by mid-April. This see’s the first tablet from HTC and for £600 you get a 7-inch Wi-Fi and 3G version. There will be a Wi-Fi only version available for £423 from the same retailer but this is not yet up for Pre-order.
The HTC tablet is powered by a single core 1.5GHz processor with 1GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. There is also a microSD, slot Bluetooth and a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera, while round the back you will find a 5-megapixel shooter.
This compares to the original Samsung Galaxy Tab which you can have for £200 less with 32GB of storage, or for the same price as the Flyer will be Samsung’s 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab. It has been mentioned before if the HTC Flyer will have what it takes to go up against rival tablets on the market.
Will you be getting the HTC Flyer?
