Mobile with March Madness in 2011

With the 2011 NCAA March Madness taking place fans of the tournament can keep updated with everything which is happening thanks to applications. There are apps for mobile platforms which help fans get even more from the tournament.

Neal J Leitereg from HULIQ has rounded up a whole host of applications for the tournament which include ones that have live streaming for every game. NCAA March Madness On Demand is available for owners of the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch and is a free app. This has live-streaming for every game and also includes features for connecting to Facebook and Twitter.

NCAA March Madness Fan Zone is also a free application which is available for Android and iOS users. This application gives real-time updates including scores and news, and fans can also chat and have fun with friends using the integration for sites like Facebook and Twitter.

College Basketball Live! is an application for owners of iOS devices and is again free. This will provide all the latest scores, standings, schedules, news, and bracket information. There is also live play-by-play of all the games in the tournament.

Bracket Tracker for Android users offers a simple design and full NCAA Men’s Division 1 tournament coverage. Users can enter multiple brackets and compete against friends and is available free of charge.
