HTC Prime: Leaked Specs and Photo Show QWERTY Slider and WP7

By Updated on

Recently we posted an article showing you the HTC Pyramid specs and leaked photos, now we have details regarding another HTC smartphone, this time it is the HTC Prime which runs Windows Phone 7.

Like our previous article these specs are not verified and have been translated from a Chinese source (xda.cn), there is a chance that some of the specs have been lost in translation, however the specs look pretty believable and the photo shows that it looks very much like the HTC Arrive aka the HTC 7 Pro.

According to xda.cn the HTC Prime will feature a 3.7-inch touch-screen display supporting a resolution of 480 x 800, there will also a be a slide-out physical QWERTY keyboard, 512MB of RAM, a 5 megapixel camera (with auto-focus and LED flash), Bluetooth and WiFi, the rest of the specs are unknown, however they seem extremely similar to the HTC 7 Pro.

If you compare the HTC Prime specs side-by-side with the HT7 Pro you will see that the only difference is the screen size, the Prime’s 3.7-inch display is marginally bigger than the 7 Pro’s 3.6-inch display, however if you look at both devices side-by-side there are some differences in design (see below) perhaps the most noticable difference are the slide-out keyboard’s mechanism and the color.
