The last time we spoke about the upcoming HP Touchpad, we told you that the device could be released in June, priced at $699. We have some good news for you now, as some recent comments from HP CEO Leo Apotheker have confirmed that the device will indeed be out in June.
Unfortunately, we still don’t know what exact date the HP Touchpad will be out, but at least you can now prepare for a definite release sometime in June, without needing to worry about the month changing.
Don’t forget we still don’t know what date the BlackBerry Playbook will be out, as the two devices are likely to go head to head this Summer, along with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 which is on the way soon too. It’s definitely a difficult decision between the three – which one are you favoring at the moment?
Interestingly, the HP CEO also revealed that webOS will be demoed on a PC running Windows towards the end of the year. You can read more details about this over at PreCentral if you’re interested.
