If you use Apple TV on your television set up, you probably updated your device to the latest version 4.2. Since doing that you may be experiencing some technical faults mainly a flickering screen, if so don’t worry because you’re not alone and it seems a fix is on the way.
This fix was announced by an Apple rep and is designed specifically for those of you who have been having the flickering screen issues. Those said to be having these problems are most likely using older HDTV models from various manufacturers.
In an article by Neil Hughes at AppleInsider the list of TV sets affected by this technical hitch include major brands such as Toshiba, Samsung, Panasonic and Sony so it’s not just happening on one make either.
When users connect their HDMI to the device it seems is when these flicker problems occur and reportedly flickering did not occur until the Apple 4.2 update. The fix is yet to get an official date of release but in the meantime you can read more details at the full article by clicking the link above.
