Allrecipes.com has already seen its apps become a huge hit among iOS device users, and now the No. 1 food website is hoping to win the hearts and minds of Android users by launching its free Dinner Spinner application for Android smartphones and tablet PCs.
According to a recent article by Dusan over on the intomobile.com website, each Dinner Spinner recipe comes with its own photos, step-by-step directions, ingredient lists and nutritional information. It also features reviews from Allrecipes.com members, with cooking variations included.
The Dinner Spinner app, which has already been downloaded by nearly 6 million iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch owners, also comes with sharing capabilities for social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook. There will also be a paid Pro version following this spring.
