We have some news today of a Nestle recall in 2011, the company have announced they are making a voluntary recall of some of its meals due to possibility of foreign bodies being found in the frozen food.
The Nestle Lean Cuisine recall concerns its Simple Favorites Spaghetti with Meatballs, which may have pieces of red plastic inside. The meals have the production code of 0298595519P, and were produced in late October in 2010.
The products also have a best before date of November 2011 printed on the side or underneath the ingredient listing. No injuries have been reported by consumers, and only a few customers have reported finding the pieces of plastic.
This also happened back in 2008 with some Lean Cuisine meals having similar problems with foreign materials being found in meals. Consumers can contact Nestle Consumer Services on (866) 606-8264 or can email email@example.com for more information. See the official Nestle press release here.
