War Pinball HD: New Game Coming to iPad 2

If you’re familiar with the video game developer and publisher Gameprom, then you may also be familiar with their hugely popular pinball games for the iPad, Jungle Style, The Deep and Slayer Rocks. If you just happen to be a fan of those games, we may have some pretty exciting news for you.

According to a recent article by Jared Nelson over on the toucharcade.com website, Gameprom are now ready to launch their latest pinball title, War Pinball HD. Their previous pinball games have had two main hallmarks: their solid physics behavior and their impressive graphics.

The War Pinball HD game, which has been optimized for the new iPad 2, will of course retain these hallmarks. The game will consist of three different pinball tables, with each being crafted from a war-themed action movie. There’s one for Navy Seals, one for Platoon and one for Missing in Action.

The Missing in Action table even comes with its own Chuck Norris décor. Another bit of good news is that a trailer has been released for the upcoming game. Although it doesn’t actually show any gameplay footage, it does feature a montage of all three tables.

As Jared notes, the app has now been shipped off to Apple for review, so we should be seeing it arrive on the Apple App Store pretty soon.
