Earlier on today we informed you that the MotorStorm: Apocalypse game’s Japanese release date had been delayed until further notice, due to the ongoing events following the recent earthquake. We’ve also received word that the upcoming Marvel vs. Capcom 3 DLC has also suffered a delay.
According to a recent article by Anoop Gantayat over at andriasang.com, the Jill and Shuma-Gorath DLC was originally scheduled to hit both Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Store on Tuesday 15th. Although a delay was confirmed, a new release date was unfortunately not mentioned.
The game’s developer Capcom posted a message on the Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two World game’s official website expressing their condolences to the victims of Friday’s earthquake, and also confirmed that the downloadable content had in fact been delayed.
As the announcement was made on the official Japanese site, it is unclear whether or not it applies to the DLC outside of Japan. Overseas gamers are advised to check the official Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Twitter page for any updates. Capcom says that a new date will be posted on the official site when known.
We’ll keep you updated if we hear any more news. Are you looking forward to playing the Shuma-Gorath and Jill DLC?
