New Solar-Powered Charging Table From Panasonic, No More Wires

Renewable energy sources are being used in technology design more often than ever now with people being more environmentally conscious and materials for production cheaper and more accessible than they used to be. Electric cars are being manufactured and solar power is being taken advantage of. Today we have news of a solar power design that sees an everyday object become multi-functional.

Panasonic have unveiled a solar-powered wireless charging table, which is just a regular piece of furniture that you can dine at that features a Solar panel which powers the table so it can charge devices that it comes into contact with.

The table is expecting to come out at the end of this year according to the article by Daimaou – G-A.G at Akihabara News. Most likely to experience the furniture first will be Japan. The convenience of the table means you no longer have to worry about wires lying around causing tripping hazard.
