If you’re waiting to get your hands on a copy of Sega’s much-anticipated Yakuza of the End game, then I think we have a bit of news that may interest you. Japanese video gaming magazine Famitsu has recently revealed a brand new character for the upcoming action-adventure title.
According to a recent article by Heath Hindman over at playstationlifestyle.net, Takeshi Tanigawa – a researcher that is studying zombies – is the latest character to have been added to the new game, known as Ryu Ga Gotoku: Of the End in Japan.
Players can apparently go to see Tanigawa at numerous times throughout the game, to obtain both information and new side missions. Just how much of the game’s dozens of hours of optional content actually comes from Takeshi Tanigawa has not been revealed at this stage.
The new character can also provide players with special assignments, which can lead to very rare valuables and other bonuses once completed. As time goes on, players will be able to slowly unravel mysteries surrounding Takeshi Tanigawa’s strange past – only if they want to mind you!
The game’s main story is said to be around 10-15 hours long, with a lot of the gameplay being optional. The Yakuza of the End game is only due to be released in Japan at this stage, but we’re sure it will arrive in the west eventually. Are you looking forward to the game?
