The much-anticipated L.A. Noire game may not include a multiplayer mode when it arrives on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but according to the recently released “Investigation and Interrogation” trailer, there will be some sort of online connectivity.
According to a recent article by Adam Barnes over on the nowgamer.com website, the newly revealed online feature – which is displayed as an option in the character’s notebook underneath the Intuition Points section – is being billed as “Ask the Community.”
The “Ask the Community” button appears towards the end of the latest trailer, when Detective Cole Phelps flips through his notepad. Just below a logo for a Rockstar Social Club is a message that says you have to be signed in to PSN to be able to use this feature.
As Adam notes, the “Ask the Community” button is situated just below the Intuition Points section on the right of the notebook, indicating that the points cold well be used to obtain clues from other players that are connected to the Rockstar Social Club.
According to a Rockstar Games representative, who has since responded to the recent revelation, players can use the online feature by spending an intuition point while interrogating a suspect. They will then be provided with statistics for all online players who have asked that question.
