We have some good news for Chevrolet fans now, as we have more details on the highly anticipated 2011 Chevrolet Colorado motor. The car will be unveiled at the Bangkok Motor Show in Thailand and we have the first picture to show you now in preparation of the event.
First of all, just take a look at the picture below which General Motors has just released. You can’t see all of the vehicle in the picture, but that’s part of the whole tease from GM as they will be unwrapping the motor at the somewhat surprising venue in Thailand later this month.
Why not showcase the Colorado for the first time in the US you ask? Well according to this report from AutoBlog, the Southeast Asian market is a very important area for General Motors and according to the auto maker, pickup trucks accounted for 43% of vehicles sold in Thailand during all of 2010.
As for a release, the GM Colorado will be available in Thailand first later on this year, but a release in the US and other markets is expected too, although this may not happen until sometime in 2012, as reported from PickupTrucks.com.
For now though, enjoy the picture and we’ll bring you more details about the vehicle during the Bangkok Motor Show at the end of the month. Let us know your thoughts on the motor.
