The technology behind their lightweight comfort is Philips’ FloatingCushion design which uses the same method for comfort as the memory foam mattresses. They hug yours ears closely forming perfect seal reducing sound loss whilst still maintaining comfort.
As the article from Paul Lamkin at Pocket-lint explains, the FloatingCushion range of headphones accommodate the fact that no one headphone design will fit across the entire population as each individual’s ears are different, by being able to adjust and distribute pressure across the unique ears optimizing comfort.
