If you like to experience your music with the highest quality possible then you will want the best headphones money can buy. AKG who are specialists in this area have unveiled their latest set of headphones designs, the AKG K840KL and the AKG K830BT.
Each of these designs offers a different type of wireless connectivity. The K840KL is Kleer enabled and the K830BT is Bluetooth enabled. They both use the AKG folding headband 3D-Axis2 design.
As the article by Chris Davies over at Slashgear explains out of the two designs the Bluetooth version seems to be the more convenient for everyday use whereas the Kleer enabled pair are specifically aimed at audiophiles.
The K840KL will go up to 2 weeks before running out of battery while the K830BL only offers up to 8 hours battery life. The K830BL also will feature controls for volume, call/end and track playback and a hands-free convenience integrated microphone.
While the K840KL won’t have all the features the Bluetooth headset offers it will feature 44.1kHz audio reproduction, high quality uncompressed 16-bit sound and will allow connectivity up to a range of 65ft. you can get your hands on both these sets now, the Bluetooth version costing $249 and the Kleer version costing $299.
