We have some good news for those of you planning to pick up the WiFi version of the Motorola Xoom, as we have details of another potential retailer to stock the WiFi edition, just days after the information about a $539 price point at Sam’s Club.
At the moment, the WiFi version isnt available, since you can only pick up the 3G version via Verizon for $799, or $599 on a two year contract with the carrier. For those of you who are not interested in using 3G though, all eyes are on when exactly, the WiFi version will make it out to stores.
Step in Droid-Life, as according to their report, Staples will be offering the WiFi model on April 3rd, although there are no mentions about a possible price. We’re guessing that the office giants are well aware that Sam’s Club could be selling theirs for $539 so we predict that it will be very close to that mark, or slightly higher with some unique incentives in order to make their deal more attractive.
Hopefully this date is real, but since its the best part of a month away, we’re pretty sure that this will end up changing by the time April 3rd comes along – we’ll let you know if it does.
