If you have played any of the Angry Birds games you will notice how the pigs have not had a chance to get revenge on all of those Angry Birds, well it looks as if this will change with the Angry Birds Facebook game.
Details are scarce, however according to Wired.co.uk the Facebook game will feature new aspects never seen before in any other Angry Birds game, this is because of the collaborative nature of the social game, also a Rovio representative went on to say “The pigs will have a more prominent role”.
The Facebook game will gain revenue via its Bad Piggy Bank, this was launched for the Android version of the game and it allows gamers to buy cheats such as the the Might Eagle, this allows players to skip any levels that are too hard to beat.
Rovio has already made millions from what is a pretty simplistic game, the launch of the Facebook game and its Bad Piggy Bank will undoubtedly make Angry Birds an even bigger success story, but will people be willing to spend money at the Angry Birds Bad Piggy Bank? I for one will not as the game will undoubtedly be gaining income from advertising etc.
Do you think that Rovio are milking Angry Birds too much?
