We have some really exciting news now for those of you that are waiting to get their hands on a copy of the much-anticipated SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs game, as the developer Zipper Interactive has just revealed release date details for the game’s upcoming beta.

However, according to a recent article by Sebastian Moss over on the playstationlifestyle.net website, Zipper Interactive announced that they will be releasing the beta in four different stages in North America and two different stages in Europe.

The SOCOM 4 beta kicks off on March 15th in North America, although this date is in fact when the private beta goes live. The developer will be contacting eligible gamers very soon. The next stage of the beta begins on March 22nd, but this date is only for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

Those who received a beta code with the recently released Killzone 3 game will then gain entry to the beta on March 29th. The final release stage of the North American beta begins on April 5th, and will be accessible to everyone via the PlayStation Network.

In the meantime, European PlayStation Plus subscribers will gain access to the SOCOM 4 beta as from March 23rd, while all other PS3 gamers have to wait until April 6th to be able to enter the beta. Are you looking forward to trying out the game before it finally arrives?
