Last week we brought you news about Crysis 2’s demo release date, map and mode info, today we bring you the new trailer which shows gamers the types of weapons they will be using in the game. The new trailer shows us the range of weaponry and just generally teases the gamer with more views of the gameplay, it has been embedded at the end of this post.
It seems Crysis 2 have followed an ever-popular idea of giving gamers points for kills which can be spent on upgrades for weaponry including scopes, lasers, suppressors and non-standard upgrades which include a whole new range of extravogant weaponry that you wouldn’t see in other traditional shoot-em-ups.
Another weapon that we thought looked pretty cool in particular was the ability to create (shoot) a hologram decoy of yourself and send it into the line of fire in order to reveal your enemies positions when they all begin to bombard it with bullets.
Mounted weapons are used that have the option to be dismounted and used as a very large hand gun and the video stresses at the end the ability to customize weaponry. The video leaves us thinking about the possibilities that the multiplayer modes could offer because of the weaponry and equipment, it does a very good job in making the game look attractive.
Check out the trailer below, do you think Crysis 2’s multiplayer will be a hit?
