We have some good news for frustrated PS3 owners who have been waiting to get their hands on a multiplayer demo for Crysis 2, as we finally have a confirmed release date for when the download will be available.
Fresh from GDC 2011, EA has just announced that the Crysis 2 demo for PS3 will be going live on March 15th in the US, we are presuming that applies to all regions as well but we’ll update this if it changes.
PS3 owners may be a little mad over the fact that Xbox 360 and PC gamers have already had first dibs on the demo, whilst the Xbox 360 even received a exclusive beta too.
Still though, a demo is better than none at all, and it means that PS3 gamers will have a week to sample the multiplayer mode before the game launches on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on March 22nd in the US, as reported by vg247.
If you haven’t seen any gameplay of Crysis 2 so far, you’ll want to check out the beta video which we’ve included below, taken from the Xbox 360 version of the game. There has been a few complaints over the graphics, so take a look and let us know what you think about them.
