We reported recently that the iPad 2 could be available soon after the press event being held by Apple tomorrow. Now this seems more likely due to images from retailer Best Buy.
Katie Marsal from AppleInsider is reporting in an article that Best Buy has listed the original iPad as deleted in its inventory. MacRumors have got hold of photos which show the status of the 3G and 16 GB Wi-Fi only iPads as deleted.
Restricted supplies and no fresh shipments to retailers could mean that Apple will be introducing the new iPad almost straight away. At the moment Best Buys computer systems have not yet shown any information for the next generation of iPad.
Best Buys inventory system can be a little unreliable when it comes to indicating product information ahead of a new device being announced. But it was accurate last month when leaked information revealed the prices and SKUs of the new range of MacBook Pros.
This latest information coincides with reports last week, that Apple was setting the wheels in motion of a major shipping program to suppliers. It is only a matter of hours now before we find out everything Apple has in store for its tablet offerings, and finally put all the speculation to bed.
