If you’re a fan of the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six franchise and you own an Apple iPhone, the chances are you’ve already heard about the Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard game that is making its way onto the Apple App Store in the very near future.
We have even more exciting news for you now, as according to Damian Ragar over at iosnoops.com, mobile video game developer Gameloft has just released the very first screenshots for the upcoming FPS. Let’s just say in our opinion, the game looks pretty impressive.
Gameloft claims that the Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard game will be the first real time tactical shooter for Apple’s popular mobile device. What sounds even more impressive is the fact that it will allow users to control a whole squad of soldiers, and not just one.
The game features a pretty straightforward plot, where terrorists have taken over an embassy and it’s the Rainbow Six elite soldiers’ job to take them into custody. Oh, and they also have the task of freeing the hostages that are trapped inside.
There has been no real trailer for the upcoming iPhone app, other than a short teaser trailer that can be viewed below this post. However, it doesn’t really matter in our eyes, as the recently released screenshots appear to show off the new iPhone game well.
