Educational iPhone App: Counting Bear 1.3

A great educational application which will help younger children to count has recently been updated. Counting Bear 1.3 is available for owners of the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

Released by GrasshopperApps this lovely application will help your child to quickly learn to count by sight, sound and touch. With an easy to use interface young children will have no trouble using the app. Your child can learn to count from 1 to 20, which can be set by the user.

Ideal for children aged between 0 to 6, they learn to count by touch and as each item is counted the child will hear the number. Users can even add their own voice so your young child can hear mommy’s or daddy’s voice as they learn.

There is the great option of adding your own objects by taking photos, so your child can count their favorite items and make the game even more fun. If any of the existing items are not liked they can be easily deleted. When a child gets a wrong answer, game play is not stopped as they can just try again and touch the correct answer.
