An application which allows you to stream audio from any computer program, to your stereo system or sound dock has just been released. WiFi2HiFi 1.0 is available for owners of the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.
Released by Clever and Son AG, the application allows you to turn your iOS device into a wireless receiver for your audio system. It works with Mac OS X, Windows 7, and Windows Vista. Then combined with your computer you can listen to whatever audio or music you have without the need for any additional hardware.
Once you have the app on your device you then download the free WiFi2HiFi station to your computer via www.wifi2hifi.com. Your music will be heard in crystal clear stereo quality, and as soon as the app is started your device is automatically detected. Even on networks which are weaker the sound quality is still high.
Works on wireless LAN or ad-hoc network on MAC. Multitasking is supported allowing you to listen to your computer’s library, while choosing the songs with your remote app. WiFi2HiFi 1.0 is available worldwide on the App Store for the special launch price of $1.19/£0.59. iOS 3.0 or later required.
