The official Royal Caribbean International app has a whole host of information at your fingertips and available for iOS devices. The free app can help you book your cruise and find special offers. There is information on destinations, deck plans, ship facts, stateroom description, and latest news. You will also find an image gallery and an Oasis of the Seas webcam.

Another free iOS application is Always Be Cruising. This is a countdown cruise timer which has an image library of over 200 ship images. Users can create their own “cruiser” profile, and search the social network to make friends before you even depart. You can exchange messages and tips to make the cruise experience even better.

Finally but no means least is Ship Mate – Royal Caribbean, this app not only provides you with a countdown to your departure date, you can also store your daily schedule. This will allow you to keep a track of all the fun activities that are planned. Users will not have to worry about getting lost as there are deck maps of all the ships. Excursions can be explored at all the ports your cruise will be calling at, and you can even keep a track of your expenses while onboard. This is available for iOS owners for $1.99/£1.19.
