Touch tablets are all the rage lately with a new improved model coming out every month it seems. Today we have news a yet another tablet this time it’s for kids, as Vtech have just launched their InnoPad tablet.
Vtech have always combined the latest technology with new innovative ways of learning for youngsters and this is their latest. The learning development device is designed especially for children aged 4 years and up.
It comes with a 5” touch display, USB interfaces and a microphone, headphone jack, SD card and tilt-sensor control. It also comes with a tough, durable plastic casing designed to be ‘kid proof’ and according to Engadget ‘can take a licking.’ Check out their article which also has a press release.
Unlike other tablets this one will rely on downloads to the SD as well as learning cartridges to keep it up to date, providing the child new stuff to learn. The InnoPad also acts as a datebook and also a video and mp3 player for when learning is finished for the day. All this for the price of $79.99, seems like the iPad better watch its back.
