By Updated on

Now that the much-awaited Duke Nukem Forever game has hopefully been given a final launch date, gamers are now doubt thinking of pre-ordering a copy. However, 2K Games has just revealed that the game will now be getting a “special edition,” as well as the standard edition.

According to a recent article by Darryl over at gamingunion.net, the special “Balls of Steel” edition will contain a 100-page hardcover artwork book, a Duke Nukem Forever comic book, a special Duke Nukem collectible bust, some stickers and postcards.

Although retailers haven’t yet listed the “Balls of Steel” edition of the Duke Nukem Forever title, gamers are able to pre-order the standard edition from retailers such as Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk and as previously mentioned here, the GameStop website.

As Oliver over on the el33tonline.com website recently reported, the “Balls of Steel” edition will also include Duke Nukem Forever poker chips, a mini-card deck, foldable paper craft, Duke Nukem Forever radioactive emblem dice and a numbered, limited edition certificate of authenticity.

There has been no word of pricing for the special edition as of yet, but we’ll keep you updated if we hear anything. Duke Nukem Forever will be available for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Would you buy the “Balls of Steel” edition if it was reasonably priced?
