We have great news now for those of you that own a Windows Phone 7 mobile and were hoping to see the Amazon mobile shopping application come to their operating system, as word has just come in that Amazon has now released a WP7 version of its popular app.
According to a recent article over at phonearena.com, the free app – which is already available for those who use the Apple iPhone and Android-based smartphones – enables users to browse the entire Amazon.com catalogue, as well as managing their wish list and making one-click purchases.
As Mike Sachoff over on the webpronews.com website reports, the application displays all of the product’s details in one single view. This allows users to scroll through horizontally to search and buy, without having to leave the app or load up new screens.
The Windows Phone 7 version of the Amazon app utilizes a new panoramic-style layout, which enables users to swipe the screen left and right to read customer reviews, view product details, browse a list of related items or make a purchase. The app is available to download now.
