Up until today we were under the impression that the upcoming Motorola Xoom tablet would only be available in black, however a recent Engadget article featured a video of a silver and black variant, which may be popular with some of our readers.
Engadget sourced their information from WirelessGoodness, apparently the silver and black variant will be a WiFi only variant, which means that anyone who wants a 3G version will have to choose the black model.
As Engadget point out the $800 Motorola Xoom price tag is putting a lot of people off, however this non-3G variant may allow Motorola to drop its price, we don’t know how much cheaper it will be, however some people do not need 3G connectivity, therefore any saving is a good thing.
Above we have embedded a photo of the silver Xoom which originally showed up on tbreak, however if you want a closer look at the silver variant check out the video we have embedded below.
We would love to hear what you thought of the silver Motorola Xoom, many prefer the standard black design, how about you? You can see some high-resolution photos of the Motorola Xoom on Motorola’s official website here, however there is no sign of the silver model.
Hopefully we will hear more details regarding the Xoom pricing soon, when we hear more we will keep you posted.
