Helpful Apps Before Super Bowl 2011 Start Time

Later today see’s the 2011 Super Bowl which starts at 6.30pm Eastern and 3.30pm Pacific. The Green Bay Packers will be taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Arlington Texas. Whether you are watching the game or have to be somewhere else, there are many applications which can keep you up to date with what’s going on.
If you are lucky enough to be going to the game the Official Super Bowl XLV app includes a 3D map of North Texas. It will also give information on places to eat and drink, parking, restrooms, concessions, and more. The app is available free on the App Store, and Android Market.
Pro Football Live is also available for iOS and Android users, and gives NFL fans all the information they need. Users get news, schedules, photos, live play-by-play action, in-game box scores, and much more. This application is also available free on the App Store, and Android Market.

If you really want keep up to date with the action and can’t get to a TV, then the ESPN Radio application will let you listen to the game unfold in real-time. This is again available on the App Store for iOS users, and on the Android Market place priced at $2.99.
