Verizon iPhone 4 Pre-orders Sets new Record

Yesterday Verizon Wireless started taking pre-orders for the highly anticipated iPhone 4, now pre-orders have ended and Verizon has revealed that this launch is the most successful in the company’s history.
Verizon began taking pre-orders online at 3.00am, by 5.00am Verizon had sold more phones than any other first-day launch in their history, no exact figures have been revealed, however Verizon thanked their employees for all of their hard work.
Online pre-orders will begin again on February 9th at 3:01 AM EST, at 7.00am on February 10th you will be able to buy your Verizon iPhone 4 in-stores, however some experts and analysts suggest that stock levels may be low due to the massive pre-order success yesterday.

The fact that so many people have pre-ordered their Verizon iPhone 4 suggests that people didn’t really care that there is no 4G connectivity, it will be interesting to see how the Verizon iPhone 4 launch will affect the iPhone 5 release, at the moment we think that the iPhone 5 will be an AT&T exclusive, however this has not been confirmed yet.
We would love to hear from you on this matter, would you prefer a Verizon iPhone 4 or an AT&T iPhone 5? According to FreakGeaks Verizon’s option has no reception issues, even if it is being held in the “death grip”, AT&T’s network has been questioned for years and consumers report a lot of dropped calls, therefore there is some doubt as to whether AT&T’s network is up to the demand an iPhone 5 will bring, that said a lot of people have jumped from AT&T to Verizon, therefore AT&T’s network will be under less stress.
