While all the talk is naturally about the upcoming release of the Apple iPhone on Verizon’s network, there is also another handset primed for release next month – Verizon’s first 4G LTE powered smartphone, the HTC Thunderbolt.
That’s not all either, as they also reveal that the price for the handset on a two-year contract will be $249.99, which is pretty reasonable for their new flagship handset – we expected it could even be $299.99 upon release, so we definitely don’t have any arguments with $250. We’re also hearing that Verizon will be offering a unexpected one-year deal with the Thunderbolt, which will be priced at $329.99 – what do you think about this?
We’d also like to point you in the direction of Verizon’s official website tailored for the HTC Thunderbolt. Here you can check out detailed information on the device, and also sign up to be notified of the latest developments via email. There is also a useful drop down menu on this page, which will show you the areas in which Verizon’s 4G LTE coverage operates.
Are you planning to pick up the HTC Thunderbolt? We’ll let you know if this rumored release date and price changes.
