The iPad is a great tool for educational applications for our children; they can have hours of fun while they learn. A new app has just been released that teaches children all about vitamins, while entertaining them with an interactive story book.
The Vitamin Adventures of Don and Flip 1.0 is narrated by two lovable birds engaging children with games and stories as they learn. The two birds, Don and Flip spend the day sitting on a tree getting up to mischief. While doing this the user gets to play a related game, and if they win find out about a vitamin.
Six elements make up the plot one for each vitamin, the first game sees Don and Flip dropping apples from the tree. This is where the child takes over to catch the apples to stop them landing on the scared worms. For an award the user’s vitamin power level goes up, and they get to learn what vitamins can be found in apples.
Children can also use the option of finding out more about each vitamin on the information screen. Just tap on the icon to find out what foods are rich in each individual vitamin. The Vitamin Adventures of Don and Flip 1.0 is available on the App Store for only $0.99.
