Blunder For New iPhone 5 or iPad 2: Surely Not 2011

By Daniel Chubb - Jan 27, 2011

We’re pretty sure that the iPhone 5 or iPad 2 release in 2011 will not unfold like last year, which means there should be no iPhone 5th generation being found on bars thanks to crazy blunders. You can revisit the Gizmodo story via this article from last year, where the leading blog explained all.

The idea of hearing an iPhone 5 prototype had been found somewhere would be great for us news writers, and some sites are pushing this idea a step further by listing where they would like to see the 5G iPhone found.

PC Mag has listed a nice slideshow showing photos of five places they would like to find the iPhone 5, could you imagine an Apple employee slipping up again? In their slideshow they include some crazy ideas like a Microsoft Store, under their pillow, obviously in a bar, and their labs. You can see the full list and reasons why in their article here.

Where would you like to find an iPhone 5 or iPad 2 before the official release? Let us know in the comments, for us it would be pretty cool to find an image online that is 99% solid, currently they have all been weak rumors thanks to Apple’s handle on the release of information, and of course they have learned from last year.

Do you think the iPhone 5 should be thinner, or have a bigger screen? This older concept image above shows a very thin iPhone 5, but would you really want it that thin?

We expect 2011 to be much easier for Apple, and that means no signal problems in the next iPhone and no prototypes being left at bars. Do you think Apple have learned their lesson from the iPhone 4 Blunder?
