We have some more information on HTC’s rumored tablet now, and particularly exciting info if you’re looking to see what kind of specs the HTC ‘Flyer’ may possess before it’s apparent release in March.
As reported from Engadget, a Norwegian website by the name of Amobil has been handed a collection of information by unnamed sources, and it gives us a great idea of what the HTC Flyer will bring to the table.
For starters, the Flyer will have a 1Ghz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor combined with 1GB of RAM. It’s thought to have a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen, 3G connectivity, a 5 megapixel camera on the back and a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front.
It will also be packing a HDMI port and a somewhat worrying 4GB of Flash memory for Apps. While you may be initially excited to hear that this tablet may come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box, it has been reported that it won’t receive any further updates beyond this – bye bye Honeycomb then?
Hopefully we’ll be able to bring you further details on the Flyer soon. There is a rendered picture over at Engadget, check it out and let us know your impressions of the device. Has the specs reveal done enough to gain your interest or not?
