Discover Dinosaurs Like Never Before: National Geographic iPad App

A great application which will help children and adults alike learn and discover dinosaurs was recently released. Ultimate Dinopedia: The Most Complete Dinosaur Reference Ever, is available for owners of the iPad with stunning graphics of over 700 dinosaurs.

Released by National Geographic the app is an interactive encyclopedia of dinosaurs with entertaining narration and video. The app is based on the award winning book of the same name, and lets kids learn fascinating facts about dinosaurs. They can watch stunning videos showing how the creatures interacted in the wild.

The book of the same name has received awards from The National Science Teachers Association and the Children’s Book Council. All your favorite dinosaurs can be found, whether meat eaters or plant eaters.

Each dinosaur gets an in-depth full page painting, and other information includes an interactive family tree, finding fossils, and the extinction mystery. All of the applications art work was done in consultation with dinosaur experts keeping it as accurate as possible.
