Although there are plenty of great games to play on Facebook already (such as CityVille and FarmVille), there is a game that is hoping to set a completely new standard for games available on the popular social networking website. The game I am talking about is the recently-released EA Sports PGA Tour Golf Challenge.
If first impressions are anything to go by, then it looks like the game is going to be a success. According to Kev J. over at electronictheatre.co.uk, the EA Sports PGA Tour Golf Challenge app definitely ticks all the right boxes, and is not like any other Facebook application you’ve played before.
When running through the main menu of PGA Tour Golf Challenge, you will see that Play Golf!, Training, Inventory, My Golfer and Pro Shop are all options available. As you have probably gathered the Play Golf! Option is the game’s main option, and offers Daily Challenge and Course Play modes.
Despite having initial problems loading the game, pastapadre from the pastapadre.com website claims that the game definitely has its share of impressive elements. Although the gameplay is described as simple, the graphics are good and the music and sound effects fit nicely.
According to Dana Jongewaard over on the IGN website, the PGA Tour Golf Challenge game is surprisingly fun, even if you’re not a fan of golf. As Dana reports, the game will also be receiving a couple of new modes within the next few months, PGA Tour Season and Challenge Friends.
