If you were hoping to get your hands on a copy of the upcoming NASCAR The Game: 2011 racing simulator within the next month, the I think you may be a little disappointed. It appears that Activision and developer Eutechnyx has delayed the release date until March 29th.
According to Matthew Kato over at gameinformer.com, no particular reason was given as to why they pushed the launch date back. Although it’s not really that big of a delay, it’s still a delay and fans of the series are no doubt still going to be slightly disappointed.

This does however mean that the NASCAR The Game: 2011 title will miss the season-opening Daytona 500, and won’t arrive until right before the sixth race on April 3rd. As Rainier over at worthplaying.com reports, the new game allows gamers to play as themselves or one of the real-world drivers.
The multi-car wrecks in NASCAR The Game: 2011 are said to be the most extreme that’s ever been experienced in an officially licensed racing game. You can view screenshots and a trailer for the upcoming game via the worthplaying.com website here.
