Back in 2005 three former PayPal employees created a video-sharing website called YouTube, now it is owned by Google and is regarded as the place to go to watch almost any video you want to find, recently ReadWriteWeb posted the top 10 YouTube videos of all time in terms of views and HuffingtonPost has put together a list of the top 10 YouTube of 2010, again in terms of page views.
Let’s start with the most popular videos of all time, this list is dominated by music videos, you can see the entire top 10 here, unsurprisingly in first place is Justin Bieber – Baby ft. Ludacris, at the time of this post it had received 434,013,869 views (watch it here). In second place is Lady GaGa – Bad-Romance, at the time of this post it had received 331,686,398 views (watch it here).
Other music videos in the list include Shakira – Waka Waka, Eminem – Love The Way You Lie ft. Rihanna, Justin Bieber – One Time, Miley Cyrus – Party In The U.S.A. – Official Music Video, Eminem – Not Afraid and Pitbull – I Know You Want Me.
Interestingly out all of the top 10 YouTube videos of all time there were just two which were not uploaded by major labels, Charlie bit my finger – again! was 4th place with over 265 million views, whilst the evolution of dance came in 9th place with 160 million views.
If you head over to HuffingtonPost you can see a far more interesting list, here they list the top 10 most popular YouTube videos of 2010, however none of them are from major labels, that said a lot of them directly inspired by the likes of Bieber, Gaga etc. My favorites have to be this Rube Goldberg Machine and <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?
