The Internet has been abuzz with articles from the CES 2011 over the past couple of days, with unveiling and announcements coming from many different companies and manufacturers including Microsoft, Toyota, Fujifilm and LG (the unveiling of the Optimus Black smartphone).
Samsung also unveiled a new product yesterday, in the form of the Samsung i997 Infuse 4G smartphone. According to a recent article on the gsmarena.com website, the Infuse 4G features an impressive 4.5-inch display, with Super AMOLED technology for improved contrast and outdoor visibility.
The Samsung i997 Infuse 4G handset comes with a 1.2 GHz Hummingbird CPU and runs on Android 2.2 Froyo. It also features two cameras, an 8-megapixel rear camera with smile detection, auto focus, multi-shot and ISO control and a 1.3MP camera to the front of the device.
As seen in the full list of specs via the phonearena.com website, the i997 Infuse 4G also features built-in support for services such as Facebook, Picasa and Twitter, as well as Wi-Fi connectivity (802.11b/g/n) and memory expansion via the MicroSD/MicroSDHC card slot.
