Most Common Fitness Mistakes: Learn From Apps

By Updated on

We have now entered a new year, and that means that a huge percentage of us will want to go on a diet. The reason behind this is because the holiday season is a time for indulgence – so we could have put on a few pounds. So you have made your mind up to lose a bit of weight and get fit in the process – but there are a few common mistakes that we all make that we need to be aware of.

You have a few choices open to you, go in the gym and decide what workout you want to do yourself, ask a fitness instructor, or if you are more tech minded then why not download an app so you will not make any of these common mistakes?

The first app that we have for you is called Fitness Tips, and is for the Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Before we talk about the features we thought you would need to know that this application is free. Once the app has been downloaded and installed you will have access to 500 Fitness Tips. What I like about this one is how you just shake or tap your iOS device to proceed to the next tip – ideal if you are in the middle of a workout.

101 Fitness Tips is not as good as the one above, but is still very insightful. However, this app still offers you all the information needed to get that body back into shape.

If these two are not to your liking, then why not visit App Shopper, as they have a huge range of apps that are designed to not only get your body fit but your mind as well.

Fitsugar wrote an article back in October and looks at four common mistakes that women make when attempting to get fit. Having read all four I can say that these also apply to men as well. Outside Online has gone into even greater detail, giving you 12 problems and offering 12 solutions to go with it. So you can either read the two articles that we mentioned or stick with something that will be with you at the gym, an app.
