There are a lot of clever applications becoming available these days, whether you want to lose weight, connect with your car, or just play a game, there is a vast amount of variety to choose from. A recent addition to the App Store is BackDoctor 1.0 which promises to cut down the risk of back pain.
Released by iHanWel the application has been developed by physiotherapists and physicians, and contains an exercise course with video instruction to prevent and ease back pain. There are a range of different programs; Cervical Spine, Speed, Lumbar Column, Advanced and Beginner.
Each of the programs is designed to last thirty minutes and performed two or three times a week, for when time is short the Speed program can be used which lasts for ten minutes. Each of the 57 exercises is demonstrated via a video with optional timer function.
An exercise calendar, tips on specific problems, and three educational videos make the BackDoctor application ideal in helping people to prevent even getting back pain in the first place. The exercises can all be performed in gradual increments, and without the need of equipment.
