Motorola CLIQ 2 and Dell Streak 7: T-Mobile Release Date Set?

By Updated on

We have some exciting news as far as T-Mobile users are concerned, as we are hearing of a potential release date for when T-Mobile USA may be planning to release both the Motorola CLIQ 2 and the Dell Streak 7 tablet smartphone.

As reported from BGR, the information has surfaced from the guys over at TMoNews, as they are claiming that the official launch date for these two highly anticipated handsets will be January 19th.

For those of you who picked up an original Motorola CLIQ, you’ll definitely be interested in the successor, as it’s supposed to be offering Android 2.2 Froyo OS, on top of an updated version of MotoBLUR UI. The QWERTY keyboard is also worth a mention as it appears that it won’t feature any gaps in between the keys, so if you are looking for a unique QWERTY experience – the CLIQ 2 may tempt you.

As for the Dell Streak 7, this just looks to be a 7-inch version of the popular 5-inch Dell Streak smartphone/tablet, but with Android Froyo out of the box, rather than 1.6 Donut which the original Streak launched with.

For those of you on T-Mobile, are any of you interested in getting either handset? TmoNews are pretty accurate when it comes to revealing early dates, so unless we hear otherwise, you should take a note of January 19th.
