If you’re waiting for the upcoming release of the MotorStorm: Apocalypse game, then you may have read my previous article about the recently revealed ‘Skyline’ track screenshots. Since then however, more details have been announced a trailer has debuted online.
The game’s developer Evolution Studios has recently confirmed a list of new details for the PlayStation 3 exclusive-racer, including plans of a demo sometime next year. According to Mike Jackson at computerandvideogames.com, the game is slated for a spring 2011 release.
It looks like the game could be receiving some pretty amazing DLC as well, with Evolution revealing their “big ambitions” for DLC support in the coming year. One idea the developer has is a special island track, which they are hoping to be able to give to fans for free.
Matt Southern – game director at Evolution Studios – spoke to the EU PS Blog recently, and revealed quite a few details about the upcoming title. For example, the MotorStorm: Apocalypse game features a set of insanely flamboyant gestures, which will no doubt infuriate your opponents.
You can read more about the game via blog.eu.playstation.com, and view the ‘Skyline’ track trailer below this post. As a fan of the MotorStorm video game series, I have to say I am rather impressed and can’t wait to buy the game when it does come out next year.
