LG Optimus U: Release on US Cellular – Android Newbies

The LG Optimus line of cellphones has been well received considering they are budget Andoid handsets, but they do offer a lot for the money. Now we are hearing reports that the LG Optimus U will be on US Cellular.

The smartphone runs on the Android 2.2 OS and has a 3.2 mega pixel camera, it also has a 3.2” Capacitive touch screen on it, WiFi and comes equipped with a 2GB microSD card that can go up to 32GB.

US Cellular are saying that this is an “ideal handset for first-time smartphone users.” This isn’t the only cellphone that will run on Android’s platform, other popular devices include the HTC Desire, the LG Apex and of course the ever popular Samsung Galaxy Tab.
