For all of you iPad users out there we are bringing you the news of an update to a great app, Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite. The app allows you to access a variety of Microsoft applications including Word and Excel as we told you before which is pretty good. You can see an couple of images below of the overview and Excel.

Not only will you be able to access the documents but you can also edit them, format them and create them. It doesn’t stop there though, there is also a remote file manager that you can connect to which will allow you to share, access and transfer the files remotely using tools like SugarSync, Dropbox, MobileMe and a few others.

This is a brilliant app in my opinion and whilst the iPad is already an innovative machine, apps like Quickoffice make an Apple product even more compatible with today’s alternative operating systems. The app was developed by Quickoffice, Inc and has intricately produced a solution between Microsoft and Apple to allow you, the consumer to have the best of both worlds. If you are still not convinced then go to the bottom of the article to view a demo of the app running on the iPad.

Onto some of the finer details, how much does it cost? You can pick it up for £11.99 or $19.99 from the iTunes app store and look at their full preview by clicking here. The other thing to note is that with the addition of iOS 4.2 for the iPad multitasking is present and with the last update it fixed a lot of the old bugs.
