When you are in the position of buying a car there are a number of things to consider, but the main factor now has to be what its MPG ratings are. For years we have not paid that much attention to what a vehicle does to the gallon, but rising fuels costs has forced us into this situation – and it is a good thing.
The reason I say this is the fact that a number of drivers no longer want huge gas guzzling vehicles, which is where the Nissan Leaf and the Chevy Volt come in. Whenever you visit a main dealer it is always best to be armed with all the facts about MPG for a certain vehicle that you are considering, as dealerships could not have the facts to hand.

The best place to go has to be the Fuel Economy website, as they not only offer figures for new vehicles, but old as well. Used cars are a huge market, and I am sure that the first thing you will look at is price, and the second is how fuel-efficient it is.
The site is very easy to use, you just go to the ‘Find and compare a car’ link, which is in the form of an image at the top left of the page. Then you have the choice to look at just one vehicle or compare two side-by-side. From there you just choose each model that you wish to compare, and then view the results. You will see MPG results for City and Highway, as well as an annual fuel cost based on a certain mileage each year.
This has to be the easiest way to see the best MPG car ratings, do you agree?
