Killzone 3 Split Screen Multiplayer: Confirmed For PS3

By Posted 5 Dec 2010, 23:16

Previously we brought you some information about the free beta download of Killzone 3 and how you needed to be a member of PlayStation Plus to have the privilege to get it, soon after we told you a bit more about the collectors edition of the game as well as some of the advantages of having it. Now we bring you some exciting news about the future release of Killzone 3. There has been a split screen multiplayer that has made its way into the online world. What hasn’t been confirmed yet is if the dual screen is online, offline or both. If you guys are like me you have your fingers crossed for both!

Killzone 3 definitely looks like a fantastic game, no doubt about it and perhaps with some of the sore points of COD Black Ops will maybe pull away some of their gamers. The previous releases of Killzone have all been pretty good but the thought of playing with your buddy at your house co-operative style with dual PSN-login is blowing my mind. For those of you that haven’t yet had the chance to see any gameplay of Killzone 3 there is a video at the bottom of this article to get you thinking about it, courtesy of RiseOfGames.com

The image was found over at N4G.com so head over to their article and click on the “Read Full Story” button. From reading through a few of the comments, as always there are a few people crying fake. Granted it does look as if it may have been put into Photoshop but this wouldn’t be the first game that has had slightly odd dual screen visuals whilst in dual screen, I mean do you remember Resident Evil 5?

It looks real to me but what do you think? Are you excited at the prospect of dual screen online play for Killzone 3? Let us know in the comments below.

Not exactly 'confirmed' though – more like a rumor atm.
