PeeWee Unveils Power 2.0 Kids Laptop

If you are thinking of buying your child a laptop in the near future, then we may have some good news for you. PeeWee PC – the company known for making both notebooks and netbooks specifically designed for children – has just unveiled its new PeeWee Power 2.0 kids’ laptop.
According to a recent article written by Shane McGlaun over at slashgear.com, the Power 2.0 netbook features an 8.9 inch, LED-backlit screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600, an integrated webcam, a 2-in-1 MMC/SD card reader and a 30GB PATA HDD.

Other features include 1GB RAM, which can be expanded to 2GB if needed, Wi-Fi with open Mesh support for Linux only and a 4-cell battery that will give around 4 hours usage per charge. The Power 2.0 can survive drops from 50cm, and features a water resistant keyboard.
